The post is creosote-impregnated with a take-up according to NTR requirements for impregnation class A-Pole.
Over the years, the creosote agent we use at present in the production of poles has become more “friendly” from a work environment point of view. The naphthalene content, which makes the posts smell, has been reduced. The environmental risks with wood that is only creosote-impregnated are still considered to be mainly local, that is in direct connection to the wood.
Environmental protection mat
If required, an environmental protection mat (absorbing mat) is supplied together with ordered creosote impregnated poles. E number 0623048. The environmental protection mat is used as protective bedding on delivery to storing place.
